Home Applying to College Freedom University Now Accepting Applications: Open to Undocumented Students in Georgia

Freedom University was founded in October 2011 in Georgia by a coalition of undocumented students, allies, immigrant rights’ organizers, and professors. It is committed to providing undocumented youth with access to a higher education. Today, Freedom University continues to serve as a safe space for undocumented youth and young adults. Every semester, Freedom University accepts up to 25 students to take courses (free of tuition) in a wide range of topics, including health, STEM, arts, and human rights. Freedom University also provides students with legal and mental health support, as well as emergency financial assistance. 

Applications are due on December 20, 2022. Be sure to apply as soon as possible.
