Step back in time at the Piney Chapel American Farm Heritage Days, returning August 7-8, 2026, to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Arena in Athens. This beloved annual event celebrates America’s farming heritage with antique tractors, vintage farm equipment, steam and gasoline engines, horse-drawn equipment, classic cars and trucks, live demonstrations, and plenty of nostalgic charm.

Scottsboro Dragon Boat Race
Experience one of North Alabama’s most exciting summer events at the Scottsboro Dragon Boat Race and Festival on August 8, 2026, at Goose Pond Colony Marina and Resort. Franklin County Watermelon Festival
