Severe Weather Update: SPC Expands Enhanced Risk Area To Much Of West/South Alabama : The Alabama Weather Blog

As of the late morning update from the SPC, they have expanded the level 3/5 enhanced risk for severe weather to include the southwestern half of the state. Roughly along and southwest of a line from Florence to Birmingham to Abbeville. The overall threats remain the same (damaging wind, tornadoes, and some hail), however it appears the threat may be a bit greater over the southern and western half of the state in the level 3/5 enhanced risk.

Be sure you have a reliable way to receive warnings tonight and take even severe thunderstorm warnings seriously and move to shelter if you come under a warning.
