Donald Trump says he was “saved by God to make America great again.” What are evangelicals saying?
Apparently God saved Trump to deport immigrants, fire federal employees without notice, start a trade war, cut aid to suffering people around the world, and bow to Russian autocrat Vladimir Putin.
Let’s see what evangelicals are saying about Trump’s speech last night. I am struck by how they seemed less concerned with the content of the speech (unless, of course, Trump said something to mock Democrats) and more concerned about who stood up and who didn’t.
