Also good for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com\/baby-led-weaning.html\">baby-led weaning<\/a>, they make a convenient and mess-free way to enjoy two foods that you wouldn\u2019t typically think of feeding your baby on the go. <\/p>\n<p>This makes them ideal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com\/baby-travel-snacks.html\">travel snacks<\/a> \u2013 and they\u2019re fab served at home, too, either just as they are or with a tasty dip or spread. <\/p>\n<p>Unlike many crackers, these are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com\/wheat.html\">gluten-free<\/a> (although you should double-check your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com\/baby-oatmeal.html\">oats<\/a> as there is sometimes a risk of cross-contamination if they are processed in the same facility as other grains containing gluten).<\/p>\n<h2>Is hummus good for babies?<\/h2>\n<p>Full of flavour, hummus is a nutritious, high-protein food, containing vitamins B and E, folate, iron, and fibre.<\/p>\n<p>Store-bought hummus, however, can sometimes be quite high in salt. Preheat your oven to 350\u00b0 Fahrenheit.<\/p>\n<p>2. Lightly grease a baking sheet.<\/p>\n<p>3. Mix the oats and hummus together thoroughly in a bowl. The exact amount of oats you will need may vary, depending on which hummus recipe you used. You want to produce a dough that is easy to handle and not too sticky, so you may need to use more oats than I did if the texture of your hummus was a little thinner.<\/p>\n<p>4. Once the mixture is well combined, divide it into 12 and roll each piece into a ball in your hands.
