Florida bound<\/strong>: Fox & Friends\u2019 longtime co-host Steve Doocy<\/strong> has announced that he will be moving from the show\u2019s curvy couch in New York City to the Sunshine State. Doocy is taking on new duties as a Florida-based coast-to-coast co-host for the morning program. In this new role, Doocy will make reduced appearances on the broadcast, appearing three times a week from his new home base. <\/p>\n \u201cAfter decades of getting up at 3:30 and driving into New York City in the dark, today is the last day I will host the show from the couch,\u201d Doocy said on Thursday morning\u2019s broadcast. \u201cI am not retiring. I\u2019m not leaving the show. I\u2019m still a host, but it\u2019s time for a change.\u201d<\/p>\n Doocy has been with Fox and Friends since its 1998 debut.
