They weigh up what makes the other guy tick; what his vibe happens to be, and they accommodate each other, not wanting to let the small stuff get in the way of a good friendship.<\/p>\n<p>What they don\u2019t do is go marching into the relationship and send repeated subliminal messages that it\u2019s \u2018my way or the highway\u2019. I\u2019m watching a hapless Kiwi lass make that mistake on <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalspy.com\/tv\/reality-tv\/a64612283\/mafs-australia-cast-stunned-bride-jacqui\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Married at First Sight Australia<\/a><\/strong><\/em> at present and I suspect it won\u2019t end well.<\/p>\n<p>You might want to take a look at some of Ferrari\u2019s other sponsors on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetf1.com\/news\/scuderia-ferrari-unveil-unique-blue-accented-livery-for-miami-grand-prix\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this weekend\u2019s car<\/a><\/strong>, HP. Shell, Ray-Ban, Peroni. All of them happy to make do with just their name on the car, so that one of Formula One\u2019s enduring traditions can continue unabated.<\/p>\n<p>Ferraris are predominantly red. It\u2019s just the way things are done around here.<\/p>\n<p>But what do you care, eh, HP? Even if you did get the memo, it probably went straight into the bin. Because you know better, of course.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ve blithely marched into a sport about which you seem to know nothing beyond what a few episodes of <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/gb\/title\/80204890\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Drive to Survive<\/a><\/strong><\/em> taught you, you\u2019re apparently oblivious to its culture and traditions and you\u2019ve effectively hung a Banksy on the wall of the Sistine Chapel. Just to perk things up a bit.<\/p>\n<p>Planet F1 has done you a kindness you don\u2019t deserve by calling the livery \u2018blue-accented\u2019. It is blue-dominated. Aesthetics sacrificed on the altar of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mailchimp.com\/marketing-glossary\/roi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ROI<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And if you think this is just some reactionary dinosaur kicking off, I suggest you search <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/search?q=ferrari%2C%20HP&amp;src=typed_query\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u2018Ferrari, HP\u2019 on X<\/a><\/strong>. And brace yourselves.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t a partnership; it\u2019s a borderline abusive relationship, and shame on Ferrari \u2014 not exactly short of a bob or two \u2014  for lacking the gonads to tell you where you can stick a level of philistinism that\u2019s remarkable even by corporate standards.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve been a happy customer of yours since 2013, HP. Never again. And even as a <em>tifoso<\/em> (I\u2019m sure your  marketing department will need to look that up) I can tell you this. If both Ferraris spin out on the first lap on Sunday, I will see it as karma. <\/p>\n<p>And I will laugh like a drain at Ferrari\u2019s calamity and your truncated airtime.
