[Music + Video] Our God – James Akinwumi

Our God - James Akinwumi

James Akinwumi, a rising voice in gospel music, unveils his second single, “Our God.” This powerful track, born from a profound spiritual experience, seeks to usher listeners into the very presence of the divine.

Minister James explains the inspiration behind “Our God,” citing Revelation 4:2-4 as the foundational scripture. “In an encounter,” he shares, “I saw a great light shining in a vast room and witnessed the elders in heaven bowing, singing, ‘Holy, holy, holy.’ When I awoke, the words holy, mighty, powerful, glorious thundered in my spirit.” He further adds that his brother, Pastor Tolu Love, joined him in this divine melody.

The creation of “Our God” was a spontaneous outpouring of worship. “On the day we sang ‘Our God,’” Minister James recounts, “we entered into this revelation without rehearsal, declaring God’s majesty through song.” He believes this song is a “divine revelation sent to bless you,” and hopes that “as you listen, may the presence of God be revealed in your life.”Telegram

The song is now available on all digital stores worldwide.
