Some files not permitted by wordpress to upload
When we upload that files wordpress showing error ” Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.”
Step 1. if you want to fix this error you have to download WP Add Mime Types plugin. The plugin additionally allows the mime types and file extensions to WordPress. In other words, your WordPress site can upload various file extensions.
Step 2. After installation go to WordPress Settings > Mime Type Settings
Step 3. Add Values in WP Add Mime Types Admin Settings,
About the mime type list, please see the list of mime types in the information of the Internet.
Ex. http://www.freeformatter.com/mime-types-list.html
When you add the mime type or file extension, the data will be added to the last item in this list at the red color
Note :- After adding Mime Types your wordpress error ” Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.” will be fixed
Kindly Follow the below step to fix this error
Step1. Go to MultiPHP INI Editor in cPanel
From Configure PHP INI basic settings select your domain name and set the following configuration
max_execution_time = 3000
max_input_time = 6000
memory_limit = 1024M
post_max_size = 512M
upload_max_filesize = 512M
