“Character Creator is like playing The Sims, but in real life. You can make yourself look exactly like you—or turn yourself into a cartoon version. The level of control is amazing!”

Creating a 3D clone might sound complex, but Cruz describes the process as surprisingly easy. All it took was one photo, Character Creator, and some digital magic. The Headshot plugin automatically converted his image into a detailed 3D model, generating a high-definition digital version of himself in just minutes.

Cruz compares the experience to using social media filters—except this time, it’s in full HD and 3D. But the real fun began when he customized every aspect of his clone, adjusting facial features, expressions, and even clothing.

After finalizing his digital self, he exported the model to Blender, where he used Rigify to add a skeleton, making it fully animatable.

The entire process—from photo to fully rigged 3D character—was fast and intuitive, proving that anyone can bring themselves to life in 3D with the right tools.

Thanks to Character Creator 4 and Headshot, Cruz seamlessly cloned himself without the need for 3D sculpting or complex modeling skills. This technology allows artists to quickly generate lifelike avatars for animation, gaming, and virtual content creation.
