Went to the Far Hills/Centerville location to pick up dinner on the way home. I’ve been going since 5:30 this morning between work and running errands for an elderly loved one so I didn’t want to go home and cook. Placed an online order and when we got to the location we were told that they were out of lettuce and tomatoes. That was “ok” as we didn’t order them on our food, so we sat down to wait. The guy who I’m assuming was the manager (red shirt) hollered over at us that he was sorry but he was out of onions too. We did order extra onions on our food so we had him cancel our orders (my husband ordered separately from me). We were sitting there contemplating ordering from another location and my husband asked the manager if he would call over to the restaurant we were going to order from to see if they had all of the ingredients and he basically told my husband to make the call himself. Terribly rude. You’re inconveniencing us by our having to go out of our way to purchase from your establishment, the least you do is have the courtesy to call for us since you said you do it all the time because you’re constantly running out of things (should tell you something about his ability manage the restaurant). Anyway, this was my go to location when i wanted Jimmy John’s. After tonight I’ll be ordering from Jersey Mike’s just down the street.
