Bardstown Bourbon Company has formed Lofted Spirits, a new company bringing together all of Bardstown’s assets under one umbrella. The new company serves as the parent company to Bardstown Bourbon Company, Green River Distilling, and Lofted Custom Spirits (the new name for Bardstown’s custom distilling unit).

According to the company, the new structure will bring the two distilleries together as well as provide a new branded identity for the custom distilling operation. While the company’s name and structure have changed, Lofted Spirits remains owned by Pritzker Private Capital.

Last fall, the company opened a second, entirely new distillery on its 400-acre campus in Bardstown, Kentucky. The site now houses three column stills and 48 fermentation tanks. Including Green River Distilling in Owensboro, Kentucky, which it acquired in 2022, the company now has an annual capacity of 18 million proof gallons.—Shane English
