I finally watched the horror show from this past Friday with President Zielinski and the Trump Syndicate.. It’s difficult for me to watch abusive content because it is so triggering for me personally — good luck over the next four years, right? Aside from the ganging up and bullying, I also feel the need to point out the absurdity and hypocrisy, which was so glaringly obvious but is never acknowledged by anyone on the right. He and his school house bullies attacked Zelenskyy for not wearing a suit when Musk shows up every day in the Oval Office in sneakers and tee shirt. Also, Trump completely trashed and repeated his vicious lies about his predecessor, on multiple occasions, while in the next breath castigating Zelenskyy for name calling, rightly labeling Putin a brutal dictator. How do these supposed “good people on the other side” not see this vulgar display of duplicity? I really want to know.
And let’s get one thing straight: Zelenskyy asserting his country’s interests, refusing to agree with lies and gross mischaracterizations is not rudeness. Trump interrupting him in mid-sentence, not giving him a chance to speak, he and his yes-men ganging up on him, accusing him of not being grateful, telling him he’s not holding any cards, conflating peace with surrender, that he’s not dressed appropriately, stumping about Hunter-Biden, and in so many other ways trying to gaslight him, is not only rude, it is abusive and despicable behavior, unbecoming of the office of President of the United States of America. He’s negotiated a sweet deal for himself with Ukraine to personally benefit from their natural resources. Count on him to sign it, despite all his chest thumping.
And for those of you talking about the world ending in fire and that Trump is bringing about the end times, please just stop. If you really hate this world so much, just take yourself for a long walk off a short dock already. Do us all a favor! Trump isn’t ringing in the the end times as if it’s some New Year’s Eve bash. That’s not how this works and you should know it. Trump is only bringing misery to an already hurting world. Jesus will come in His own sweet time, thank you very much. Full stop.
Here’s what I believe, based on my research and the information I have access to as an American citizen:
1. Putin is a fascist, not a communist. Communism fell when the wall came down. Putin filled that void with his fascist oligarchy.
2. The extreme right is steeped in white supremacy and is deeply infatuated with Nazis.
3. Trump is entrenched and obsessed with an extreme fascist ideology because he sees it as the fastest, easiest and most effective way to get the most wealth and control. He sees how wealthy and powerful Putin is. This is what he craves more than anything: money and power. He wants to be the one “holding all the cards.”
4. Trump is a Russian Asset who thinks he is in control of Putin. But all his actions prove the opposite is true. Putin is calling the shots and has been using compromised material he gained at the Miss Universe contest to control Trump. Further, he sincerely envies Putin and the empire he has built and wants that level of control and wealth for himself.
5. He envies Musk’s wealth and never wants to be in the position to ever have to ask for help from scumbags like him, Putin or anyone ever again. He sees the presidency as his best avenue to finally rid himself of the need for people like that. He wants more than anything to not be beholden to anyone. In other words, his goal is to become the richest and most powerful man in history so he never has to answer to anyone else but himself. Meanwhile, in order to get there, he must grovel at the feet of Musk and Putin or anyone else he believes has more wealth and power than he has.
6. There is no altruism in his motivation, no interest in saving the world or making it a better place. He’s just a petulant child who wants what he wants and knows how to get it. In the final analysis, he wants to be the winner, even if that means making everyone else in the entire world a loser.
7. With all the purging, appointments of incompetents, and indiscriminate cutting, it is becoming clear Trump’s house of cards is going to collapse sooner than expected. His recklessness and brinksmanship has made our country much more vulnerable to disruption. The former head of the SSA, Commissioner Leland Dudek, predicts the system will crash within a month, due to all the firings and jury rigging of the tech. All it will take is one natural or unnatural disaster, a series of plane crashes, institutional failure, an outbreak of a pandemic, a wildfire, a hurricane, a new war, a sharp economic downturn to sink the entire ship. And in that chaos, which he is counting on to ensue, he will declare Marshall Law, as a cover to slip in unnoticed some of his most unimaginably dastardly plans. We must keep our eye on the ball, and not be so easily distracted, so we can track what is really going on through all the coming noise.
