- Makoto Furukawa will release his first mini-album in nearly four years, Catch Me If You Can, on June 18, 2025.
- One of its tracks, “Hightail it,” has been selected as the ending theme for the TV anime Please Put Them On, Takamine-san, which premieres on April 2. The album will feature five songs and be available in three editions: a limited edition with photos of Furukawa in a casual outfit, a first-run limited edition that includes a Blu-ray with a music video and behind-the-scenes footage, and a standard CD-only edition. The music video includes a guest appearance by comedian Tonikaku Akarui Yasumura, adding an extra layer of fun to the release.
- Furukawa will also take the stage in Tokyo on April 13 as part of his Furukawa Makoto 2nd Live Tour “kaleido is bloom.” Stay tuned for more of his music activities!

Makoto Furukawa has voiced numerous anime characters, including Shaddiq Zenelli in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, Karasu Tabito in Blue Lock, Shishio Makoto in Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story – Kyoto Arc, and Taiju Oki in Dr. Stone.
Furukawa made his singing debut under the Lantis label with his first single, “miserable masquerade,” released on July 4, 2018.
On November 12, 2023, he held his first solo concert with a live audience, Furukawa Makoto 1st Re-Live “Call” in the BOX, at Zepp Shinjuku (Tokyo). His next Tokyo performance, part of the Furukawa Makoto 2nd Live Tour “kaleido is bloom,” is scheduled for April 13, 2025, at TACHIKAWA STAGE GARDEN.
