Looters are stealing what does not belong to them, and arsonists are burning what does not belong to them, thus taking it away from the owners by force. They are common thieves and should be punished accordingly.
Exodus 20:15, “Thou shalt not steal.”
The right to own private property comes down to mankind from the Creator Himself, and this is why He commands: Thou shalt not steal.
The first amendment of the Constitution of the United States protects the rights of Americans to peaceably assembly and petition the government for a redress of grievances. Looting and burning is in no way peaceable and therefore NOT protected.
Furthermore, the police officer Derek Chauvin destroyed the life of George Floyd in a senseless act of cruelty.
The murderer, the looters and the arsonists will all answer to Almighty God for their crimes unless they repent of their sins.
But there is forgiveness for them all, if they will only confess their sins to the Creator in truth, and turn away from them. First John 1:9
