In early July, we posted a review of Mossburn’s Speyside Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. This time around, the subject of today’s review is their Island Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. Here are a few words about this expression:
A blend of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies distilled on the islands of Scotland. To enhance the characteristics we love in coastal malts, the Mossburn Casks used were first fill ex-Bourbon barrels with toasted virgin European heads, to provide additional smoky spice.
Since we really enjoyed the Mossburn Speyside edition, we were quite excited to see what they did with their Island expression. To find out what we thought of it, click play on the following video:
