We might have what could be our first look at alleged CAD renders of Apple’s iPhone 17 series lineup. That’s according to an image shared by leaker @MajinBuOfficial on Sunday.
What we see in the image is what looks to be the iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro.
The iPhone 17 Air has been rumoured to have a single rear lens as part of a raised single camera bar. The iPhone 17 design looks about the same as the iPhone 16. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have a raised rear camera bar design (reminds us of Google Pixel Pro designs). The raised bumper area is a fused design. These are hard to comprehend as Apple designs.
We will likely see more leaks as we again move closer to Apple’s iPhone 17 series production date. More dummy models will leak as case makers will get access to dimensions and again leak them. Apple C1 Modem Roadmap
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has shared more details about Apple’s in-house C1 modem inside the iPhone 16e. Gurman says the C2 and C3 are already being tested. C2 is said to appear in 2026 and C3 will appear in 2028. But there’s a twist—Apple plans to combine the C-series modem into the main Apple Silicon processor, for both cost reduction and energy efficiency. This is rumoured to debut in 2028 at the earliest, says Gurman.
