BIRMINGHAM U (8-7)
The Dragons would like nothing better than to beat big sister. The Tide will be the second ranked team they have played so far this season. The first was #20 Mississippi State who whupped them 11-1.
FURMAN (6-11)
The Paladins have yet to play a team whose mascot is one you’ll know without Googling. The record says it all.
SIUE (5-6)
I believe Johnny Cash had a song about this team. To be clear, this is not Southern Illinois University Cabondale. This is Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I can understand how you might get confused there.
WEATHER
One good thing is that it should be pleasant weather for the day games, sunny with highs in the 70s on Fri & Sat but much cooler on Sunday. However once the sun goes down, all bets are off. Wear thermals.
