Australian startup Bonza’s proposed launch map in 2022. The airline hopes to begin flights mid-year.
This map is, well, a mess. First, the destination labels do not need to be so far from their respective dots, and thus do not need their own lines. In fact, if you just shifted the Australian continent to the left there would be room for each label along the right side of the map. The label lines only muddle the route map itself, which looks like someone simply drew straight lines — no need for readability — where routes will go.
While Bonza’s map has no relevance to their approval, we do hope they clean this up before launch.
