I sure do miss the Twin Cities Burger Battle. It’s been way too long, but there was another Burger Battle that went down earlier this week that I want to highlight.
Five restaurants located inside Graze, battled it out for Best Burger. I don’t want to sound cliche’, but any of these burgers would have been a worthy winner, but there is only one.
Two Mixed Up takes the crown with their fantastic Patty Melt!
Here is what went down:
The Fabled Rooster – PB&J Burger – Black Angus Patty, Pepper Jack Cheese, Smoked Brisket, Jalapeño Jelly and Roasted House- Made Peanut Butter.
🎤The crunchy style peanut butter was delicious. Creamy, not sticky. The green jalapeño jelly gave it a fantastic kick. The brisket is a melt in your mouth show stopper.
Soul Bowl – Return of the Mac Burger – grilled & seasoned patty, cheddar cheese, Mac and cheese, turkey bacon, spring mix, tomatoes, papo bbq sauce.
🎤Lots of flavors. Seasoned well. Creamy Mac & cheese. Tasty bbq sauce.
Two Mixed Up – Patty Melt – two 3.5 ounce patties. House sauce, spicy ketchup, grilled onions, two slices each of American and Gouda cheese on Texas Toast.
🎤A wonderful patty melt. So much cheese. Juicy beef. Loved the spicyness of the ketchup.
Viva Taco – Fajita Burger – house Made Sweet Bolillos Bun, house made chipotle Mayo Sauce, 1/3 Ibs Angus Beef Patty topped with Cheese, Fajitas glazed onions, Pico De gallo, and lettuce.
🎤I loved the pico de gallo. Beautifully temped angus patty. Delicious chipotle mayo sauce. Unique bun. Loved the glazed onions.
Union Hmong Kitchen – The Meeka Burger – 2 patties, American cheese, white tiger sauce, fermented mustards.
🎤Lots of cheese. Great tiger sauce. Nice smashed patties. I loved the fermented cucumbers and carrots.
The down side to my post is that none of these burgers are currently on any of the menus. If any do become available, I will let you know. I’m pretty sure a couple of them will.
