Lobster roll Amsterdam // Your Little Black Book

Looking for a lobster roll in Amsterdam? That’s a great mission because, despite the growing selection, not every place has this delicacy on the menu. As far as we’re concerned, the lobster or crab roll deserves a spot on more menus and variations. There’s hardly anything better than a classic lobster or crab roll, and that’s why we present the ultimate Your Little Black Book list with all our favourites in Amsterdam.

The best lobster rolls in Amsterdam

Heyú Café

In Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, you’ll find Heyú Café, a coffee spot serving lunch and lobster rolls. They bake everything at this cosy pink bar, and the lobster rolls are freshly prepared. Finish your brunch with a lovely stroll along the Amstel.

Weekend brunch is best enjoyed at Lotti’s. Their eggs benedict are already famous but don’t miss the brioche with crab on the menu. The menu was recently revamped and now includes even tastier dishes. Book a table quickly!

V&A Bistro

You won’t find a lobster roll at the newly revamped V&A Bistro Amsterdam (formerly Venus & Adonis), but you will find a delicious brioche with crayfish. Trust us, it’s just as good as the original. Enjoy a glass of bubbles and brioche on sunny days on their terrace.

Jansz

Jansz boasts a fantastic location, and the menu is just as delightful. Think: a veggie club sandwich, a classic sandwich with cumin cheese, and a good old lobster roll – they know exactly how to make one here.

Bistro G.P. by George

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner at George is always a treat. It’s one of those places in Amsterdam where you can always visit. At George Bistro in Gelderlandplein, you can enjoy a lobster roll from early morning until late at night. And yes, it’s just as good as all the other classics on their menu.

Mossel & Gin

They are known for their mussels and gin, but their new menu also features a fantastic lobster roll. Beautifully glazed with garlic butter and extra appealing thanks to the ‘caviar’ (lumpfish roe). The perfect way to start an evening at Mossel & Gin.
