Jinwoo appears with his shadow army. Outside the footage of the fight is cut off. Jinwoo uses his potions to heal the remaining fighters, however, Chae-In cannot be heal due to the severity of her injuries. The shadows are able to mostly handle the massive horde of ants. Jinwoo prepares to create another exit but is interrupted by the appearance of the Ant King. The feed turns on just in time to see Jinwoo face the Ant King.
The Ant King lands the first punch. Jinwoo isn’t phased and strikes the Ant King in return. The two exchange a series of punches, destroying the surrounding environment. Suddenly, the Ant King scratches Jinwoo with his tongue poisoning Jinwoo. It was suppose to paralyze Jinwoo but it fails to do so. When the Ant King tries to deliver the final blow, Jinwoo punches him into a wall. Releasing that he can’t win at his current level, the Ant King evolves.
The animation and action kicks up a notch from here. The Jinwoo and Ant King trade strikes, blows, and abilities. It’s a remarkable scene. The Ant King comes to the conclusion that he cannot defeat Jinwoo after the later upgrades and develops a new skill, mutilation. He slices up the Ant King and he flees. Jinwoo gives chase and slices him further. Desperate, the Ant King calls his ant army. Jinwoo calls his shadow army and the slaughter the remaining ants.
The Ant King is completely overwhelmed and afraid at this point. He tries to escape once again and is killed when Jinwoo uses mutilation once more. With Chae-In dying, Jinwoo tries to use the life elixir to save her. However, nothing works. The episode ends here. I wonder what Jinwoo would use to save her. It seems like he’s reluctant to use it.
