What is Limoncello?

Limoncello is made from lemon zest, sugar, water, and alcohol. It is a traditional Italian liqueur typically served chilled as a digestif after meals, especially in the Southern Italy, Amalfi Coast. Its vibrant yellow color and bold lemon flavor, add a sweet and citrusy punch to cocktails like this Limoncello Martini and other Limoncello cocktails like the Limoncello Spritz. It is available in most liquor stores. We use this Lemon Liqueur, or you could try making your own, Homemade Limoncello!
