2025 NFL Mock Drafts for Alabama Crimson Tide Football Players

The 2025 NFL Draft commences on Thursday, April 24 at Lambeau Field and its adjacent Titletown District in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The NFL has invited 17 college football players to attend the festivities. Among them are three former Alabama players: Tyler Booker, Jihaad Campbell, and… Jalen Milroe? It is highly likely that Book and Jihaad get selected in the first round. Milroe is a little more questionable as a Day 1 pick.

OL Tyler Booker

For most of last fall and into winter, the Alabama team captain was trending to be picked in the mid to upper 20s of the first round. In the spring, the Seahawks at #18 emerged in many of the mock drafts. Of late, it has switched to the Baltimore Ravens at 27. That will only happen if he is still on the board that late. Some team who was not expecting him to last to their spot may snatch him up before it gets to 27.

The mocks have him all over the place from Indianapolis (#14) to Philly (#32).

LB Jihaad Campbell

The Crimson Tide’s 2024 defensive MVP helped his stock with a strong showing at the Combine. Forget the stats and measurements, it’s performances like the one in the above video that grabs the attention of NFL personnel.

The latest mocks have Tampa Bay as the trendy favorite at pick #19. The San Francisco 49ers at 11 has also been floated around. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein and Daniel Jeremiah both had him going ninth to the Saints, but those mocks are a few weeks old.

IMHO, Campbell looks like a 10+ year NFL starter.

QB Jalen Milroe

One of the more controversial picks will be the Crimson Tide’s former signal caller. For better or for worse, many people compare him to the 2024 fourth overall pick Anthony Richardson who went to the Colts as a guy with immense talent who needs some fine-tuning. The only difference is Milroe isn’t going to quit in the middle of a game. Scouts love Milroe’s heart. And who knows? With the right QB coach, he could turn into Lamar Jackson.

Milroe’s mocked destination is no consensus, but Pittsburgh at 21 seems to be a trendy pick. The Steelers recently lost Russell Wilson to the Giants and Justin Fields to the Jets. With 40-year old free agent signing Joe Flacco projected as their starter, Cleveland has also gotten some buzz as a trade-up to late first round or at the Browns’ first pick of Round 2.

DB Malachi Moore

The best thing about Moore is his versatility. He can play either safety position, corner or nickle. Alabama listed him at 6-0 and 201 lbs, but the tale of the tape at the Combine had him at 5-11/196. His size will likely hurt his value. He looks to be a Round 6 pick or somewhere therein.

P James Burnip

Burnip is one of the most underappreciated members of the Crimson Tide. He has been rock solid and also has kick holding skills. Punters usually are not drafted but it is not out of the ordinary. Late on Day 3 or free agent.

LB Que Robinson

Que was having a pretty nice season until he suffered a season-ending injury during the team’s game against LSU in November. The silver lining is that the injury was to his left forearm and not of the lower body. It has been five months since that setback and by all reports he should be on the road to recovery and ready to go by the time NFL training camps begin in July.

A few outlets have been calling him a “dark horse” or an “under-the-radar” pick. FOX Sports NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reported that Robinson had visited the Lions, Panthers, Falcons, and Chiefs. Que could be ideal as a defensive situational player or a special teams contributor. Don’t be surprised if someone takes a shot at him on Day 3 (Round 4-7).

TE CJ Dippre

It feels like CJ was never truly exploited as an offensive weapon in his two years at the Capstone. By all accounts, he is an decent blocker and plays with fire. He could make a nice second or third tight end for someone. Unfortunately, this is a deep draft class for the position and Dippre is down the pecking order. Undrafted free agent signing is most likely his destiny.

DL Tim Smith

Smith was a bit inconsistent in his playing days in Tuscaloosa. He doesn’t appear to be an every down linemen but could find a niche as a specialist. Maybe perhaps late 7th round but free agent make more sense.

TE Robbie Ouzts

If you want a mean tough mer-fer, Ouzts is your man. The position of fullback is much more prevalent in the NFL than college. He could find his way onto a roster, but his chances of getting there via the Draft doesn’t look optimistic.

SN Kneeland Hibbett

What can you say about a long snapper? Hibbett was basically flawless over four seasons. If there is a stacked team out there that needs that piece, he could get selected. More likely, he won’t but he should make an NFL team next fall, even if it’s a practice squad.

PK Graham Nicholson

What a long strange trip it’s been for the 2023 Lou Groza Award winner. From number one kicker* a year ago to an almost forgotten man this past season. TBH, I can’t even recall his jersey number this season. Nicholson attempted only 10 field goals this season and connected on 8. He had 28 tries the year before at Miami-Ohio. In his career, he is only 2 of 5 from 50 yards or more. He won’t get drafted but he’ll get a tryout somewhere. Hopefully, he got a good degree or two.
