Two weeks in a row without a lager! And as I am leaving for work again early next week it will be the last entry here for a couple of weeks. The story on how I got this is still the same as the last couple of entries, but it is also the last beer from that trade. Expect a new acquiring story when I am back home around Christmas.
This is actually only the fourth stout being reviewed here on the blog. The other three are Sri Lanka, Israel and Malaysia. The beer is dark black in colour with a thin boozy dark brown lacing on top. It smells of coffee and chocolate. Mouthfeel is slightly thin due to the lower ABV. The taste is sweet and roasty with a hint of coconut. Some bitter roastiness towards the end before it finishes on the sweet note.
