How many more Alabama players will get selected?
The Alabama Crimson Tide had three players go in the first three rounds of the draft this year, extending the streak of 1st round selections. Tyler Booker and Jihaad Campbell were drafted Thursday night, and then QB Jalen Milroe was picked in the 3rd round yesterday.
As we enter into day 3, things will really speed up. The next four rounds will get knocked out in one go, starting at 11:00 a.m. CT.
Alabama has a number of players hoping to hear their names called today:
Punter – James Burnip – Top punter on the board, maybe as high as 4th round
Safety – Malachi Moore – 4th-6th round
Tight End – CJ Dippre – 5th-7th round
Defensive tackle – Tim Smith – 5th round to undrafted
Edge – Que Robinson – 5th-7th round
TE – Robbie Ouzts – Undrafted, but outside shot of 7th round selection
Kicker – Graham Nicholson – Not drafted (is he even trying to go NFL?)
Long Snapper – Kneeland Hibbet – Long snappers don’t get drafted…
