Three Cents premium mixers & Tequila Ocho introduce a month-long celebration of the Paloma

Over 50 venues across the UK will be serving up unique takes on the popular cocktail

Artisanal beverage brand and pioneer of the Paloma cocktail, Three Cents, is celebrating its signature serve not only on National Paloma Day (22nd May) but throughout May. Collaborating with the best cocktail bars and the UK’s most exciting up and coming mixologists, the Paloma month will see over 50 venues take part and offer guests exclusive cocktail menus and offers that put the spotlight on Mexico’s national drink.

Participating venues will be serving up the classic Perfect Paloma – a refreshing combination of Tequila Ocho and Three Cents Pink Grapefruit Soda – as well as a version that puts the venue’s own unique spin on the cocktail.

Three Cents Pink Grapefruit Soda, which perfectly embodies the unique aroma and flavour of the fruit, was the first of its kind outside of Mexico and was a driving force in the Paloma trend across Europe.

Participating venues include Hackney’s 392 Kingsland Road’s bar and Deptford’s cocktail and listening bar, Jazu, to London favorites Happiness Forgets, Discount Suit Company and Cafe Pacifico. Outside of the capital, the Perfect Paloma will be featuring on menus at Edinburgh’s Bramble bar and Voodoo Rooms, Manchester’s Lost Cat, and Bunny’s Dive Bars, Bristol’s Spirited and Dos Dedos in Bath, as well as Gaucho restaurants and bars throughout England and Scotland.

Stand out spins on the Paloma cocktail using the Three Cents Pink Grapefruit Soda and Tequila Ocho Blanco include a Spicy Paloma at Edinburgh’s Chancho bar, with chilli, amaro and lime, Bath’s Dos Dedos’ Rosé Paloma adding rosé cordial and bitters and the Peachy Paloma at London’s Beasy Bar using a peach liqueur, lime and agave syrup.

George Bagos, General Manager and Co-founder of Three Cents, says “We’re strong believers that the Paloma cocktail deserves a whole month of celebrations, not just one day, so we’ve worked with some of the most promising British talent to bring not just the classic Paloma, but unique spins on the cocktail to bars across the UK. Three Cents was created by bartenders for bartenders and to equip them with premium mixers that let them get creative. The Paloma month will bring this to life so either head down to your favourite bar for their take on our famous drink, or take a tour of the city to celebrate the Paloma in style.”

Three Cents was founded in 2014 by a group of bartenders in the search of the perfect cocktail mixer in Athens, Greece. This led to a fascination with carbonation and over ten years ago the brand launched with its Pink Grapefruit Soda. It was the first of its kind and instrumental in driving the Paloma cocktail craze in Europe. Designed to offer maximum flavour and carbonation to balance the ingredients of a cocktail or long drink, Three Cents artisanal beverages are crafted without preservatives, juices or artificial colourings and elevate flavours and aromas, maintaining a drink’s fizziness.
