Akasa Air, which started in 2022 in the middle of the pandemic, has crossed a major milestone of offering 1000 flights a week, translating into over 150 flights a day.
In just 31 months of operations, Akasa Air has served over 17 million revenue passengers, demonstrating unwavering commitment to service excellence, punctuality, and safety, said the airline in a press release.
Some of the Akasa Air milestones are
- 100,000+ departures operated
- 100,000+ tons of cargo transported
- 98 successful charter flights
- 1,150+ corporate partnerships
- 2,400+ international departures
- 800+ tonnes of cargo carried internationally
Where are the maximum departures?
A look at data shared by Cirium, an aviation analytics company, exclusively for this blog post shows that the airline operates to 23 domestic and five international destinations, a total of 28 destinations.
The airline which is headquartered in Mumbai has slowly made inroads at the airport which is the most difficult to get slots at with 209 weekly departures, the highest in the network, followed by Bengaluru at 176 weekly departures. Delhi comes in next with 112 weekly departures.
Its route to Jeddah from Mumbai, is the longest in the network while Mumbai – Guwahati sector is the longest domestic route. The Guwahati – Agartala route is the shortest in its network.
