Today, Apple TV+ revealed a first look at the second season of Platonic, the acclaimed comedy starring and executive produced by Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne.
In Platonic, Rogen plays Will and Byrne plays Sylvia — former best friends who reconnect in midlife after a long estrangement. Sylvia is a stay-at-home mom of three, while Will is a recently divorced brewmaster. As their rekindled friendship deepens, it sparks humorous and chaotic situations that upend their personal and professional lives.
According to Apple, season two picks up with the beloved duo facing new midlife hurdles, including challenges at work, weddings, and partners in crisis. They do their best to be each other’s rock — but sometimes, rocks break things.
The 10-episode season will premiere globally on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, with the first two episodes, followed by one new episode weekly through October 1, 2025.
