Afrosonic, the new homegrown movement celebrating African electronic sounds, makes its
highly anticipated debut on May 31st at Club Paradise, delivering a night of rhythm, culture and sonic
innovation.
With a genre-rich blend of Afrohouse, amapiano, 3-Step, Gqom and Afrotech, Afrosonic is more than a party—it’s a sound experience. The event champions the city’s most future-facing sounds whilst shining a spotlight on some of South Africa’s most exciting local talent. Expect a dance floor powered by carefully curated DJ sets and a community driven by culture and creativity.
The lineup will feature two headliners, Argento Dust and Tashinga, followed by Mila, Confido, Not A She, Nosotros, 2Farr and Ns1mb1.
“Afrosonic is about movement of people, music and energy,” says event curator Prince Sibiya, founder of VSNRY GROUP and creative force behind the event.
“We’re building a space that merges nightlife with narrative, where music lovers, creatives and cultural shapers can connect and celebrate our soundscape in motion.”
The event will kick off with an early evening warm-up, transitioning into a full-fledged late-night club takeover. Afrosonic’s aim is to carve out a lasting presence in Cape Town’s nightlife scene, with this launch setting the tone for future events and collaborations.
