The wine is refreshing and gently fruity, though slightly gummy with overtones of pastry dough and eventually notes of nutmeg. The chewiness helps to evoke a bolder body that isn’t always present in non-alcoholic wines, and which keeps the wine from meandering too close to fruit juice territory. Elements of honeydew melon, lemon curd, and honeysuckle make for a perfectly summery experience — though the berry-laced fruit notes endemic to most rose wines are surprisingly elusive.
