Beef is stewing between two of Eswatini’s notable trap rappers K-Dirrty and K-Darrow. The bone of contention is the K at the beginning of each of the rappers names with Dirrty claiming that Darrow stole his name and hence used him to climb up the Eswatini hip-hop totem.
K Darrow had one of the biggest songs in 2021 with his Upscale Live backed single Indlala he’s also responsible for lacing the catchy hook on Sean Cast & Lyrikal Busta’s hit single Bacede, also released in 2021.
On the other hand, Dirrty has been releasing trap tracks for several years which have had limited national success.
K-Dirrty’s most recent track is called EastSide and it features Manzini based rapper McG.
It has to be mentioned that fans have hinted that K-Dirrty’s recent trap releases sound far too different from his conscious rap driven Summer in 1998 mixtape which had deep rap cuts such as Nine98. It was this 2015 mixtape that introduced the nation to K-Dirrty 8:30 as he’s famously known.
In scathing Facebook post, K-Dirrty declared war on the Upscale Live artist for “copying” his name. We will continue to keep you updated as the beef unfolds as K-Darrow is yet to respond to K-Dirrty’s provocation.
