Transavia to introduce a retrojet
On 21 October 2025, Transavia will celebrate its 60th birthday. To mark this important milestone, the airline is set to introduce a retrojet. This new Airbus A321neo is scheduled to be delivered in the summer of this year.
The featured livery is inspired on the livery that the airline introduced in 1966. It was designed by Thijs Postma, who also introduced the color green and “T” as the airline’s logo. Both elements are still part of the livery today.
Transavia (Netherlands) currently operates a fleet of seven A321neos and 40 Boeing B737-800s. Sister Transavia France has a fleet that’s made-up of nine A320neos and 68 B737-800s.
