In early May, we had a visit from
our friends at @rspca_wa who had been called to assist two very tiny newborn
goats. Rescued from a dam wall, the wild born siblings were reluctant to take
the milk bottles offered by their rescuers, who reached out for
assistance.
The now named Pecan and Hazelnut settled quickly into the Sanctuary
routine. With warm goats milk on offer, the pair soon had the hang of suckling
and have good appetites.
Rangeland goat kids are notorious for being difficult
feeders, so we were happy to see both kids keen for their milk at last, and
bleating at the sound of the fridge opening! More baby goat cuteness coming
