Christmas is a time for giving, but it can be tough, especially this year.

• A Custom Book Stamp: Several companies offer custom book stamps that can put your name or whatever you want on your books. It can be ideal for anyone who lends out their books often or just loves cool crafty gifts.

Budget Book Gifts

• Book-Themed Secret Santa: I’ve previously shared my idea for a book-themed secret santa, which is a cost-effective and fun way to buy Christmas gifts for book lovers.
• Bookmarks: Cute bookmarks often only cost a few pounds and can be a fun treat. As much as most of us don’t buy them ourselves and will just use train tickets and receipts until given something better, you can give a sweet, thoughtful present that will actually get used. Also, loads of crafters and small businesses do them, so you can support local businesses and get a gorgeous gift for someone special.
• Chocolate: Chocolate is the ultimate delicious treat to enjoy while reading. They don’t cost much, but chocolate isn’t just for Easter and can be the perfect little present for a book lover or, frankly, anyone.
• A Clip-On Book Light: A handy, cute book light can be a fun stocking stuffer. There are loads available online that are handy and not the kind of thing most people buy for themselves.
