Getting set for Limpopo | Children’s Author David L. Harrison’s Blog

Hi everyone,

I’m working on my Tuesday Zoom talk with teachers in South Africa. I have a good start, and I know what I want to say, but it’s not yet organized the way I want it. Long distance visits are exciting. Some of my friends such as KENN NESBITT, SARA HOLBROOK, and MICHAEL SALNGER, spend a lot of time traveling to far-off places to speak to kids in person. I’ve only done that once: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on the other side of the world, in 2011. Last year I was on a large screen at a school in Japan, 6,400 miles from my desk. In that case I was talking to kids. This time teachers will be my audience and we’ll be separated by 9,000 miles. I love technology when it performs miracles like this.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
