Here’s my extended, chill out version of the classical masterpiece from Claude Debussy.
I’ve slowed down the tempo significantly in an experiment to see if I could create a new soundscape out of something familiar. Hopefully someone finds it relaxing!
The slow motion video is of the shipping canal between Slaithwaite and Huddersfield near my house as the sun was setting. It was a moment of bliss that inspired me to continue my journey towards making ambient / electronica / neo-classical music.
I’ve a while to go yet but honing my music production and engineering skills with a cover was a good move I think. I may even try some other classical composers like Beethoven in this style.
