❓ Best time to visit?
Spring (April-June) and Autumn (September-November) offer the most pleasant weather across most of the country. Summer is peak season for national parks and coastal destinations, while Winter is ideal for the South and Southwest.
✈️ How to get there?
The US is served by major international hubs including New York (JFK/Newark), Los Angeles (LAX), Chicago (O’Hare), Miami, and San Francisco. Most long-haul international flights connect through one of these airports.
Budget airlines like Southwest and Spirit cover domestic routes affordably once you’re in the country.

➡️ How to get around?
Renting a car is by far the most flexible option, especially outside major cities. Domestic flights are great for covering large distances quickly. Amtrak trains connect many cities but are slow and limited compared to Europe. In New York City, the subway is excellent, but for most of the US, expect to drive.
⏰ How many days to visit the United States?
The US is enormous …you could spend a lifetime here! For a focused trip, allow at least 10-14 days. A classic East Coast or West Coast road trip takes 2-3 weeks. To do New York City justice, plan at least 5-7 days on its own.
