We have reached the final 3 days of our trek through the Psalms of Ascents!
Looking back over this past month, it is amazing to see how far we’ve traveled together. We started at the bottom of the hill in life’s heavy valleys, sang through God’s Perfect Protection, learned to quiet our hearts in True Rest, walked the rugged road of Humility and Endurance, and stood together at the summit wrapped in Unity & Blessing.
Though these last few passages aren’t in Psalms, they are the most beautiful of all; In them we got to see how every single step of this ancient pilgrim road leads us directly to Jesus, our ultimate refuge, our true rest, our model of endurance, and the absolute fulfillment of God’s eternal plan.
I want to say a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you who walked this path with us! Whether you studied independently, with your church groups, posted your daily insights, or lifted up others in the comments, your presence made this community journey so rich and meaningful.
What’s Next? Join Us in August!
We aren’t leaving the Book of Psalms just yet!
Starting in August, we are diving into our next brand-new study: “Teach Us to Pray: Prayers in the Psalms.”
Psalms is more than a songbook; they’re a prayer book, too! If you’ve ever struggled with what to say to God, felt like your prayer life was stuck in a rut, or wanted to pray with more confidence, this study is for you. We’ll be looking at how the psalmists brought their rawest emotions- their joy, heartbreak, confusion, and gratitude- straight to the throne of God, and how Jesus teaches us to do the very same.
