  • Creating a relaxing evening routine, such as reading, stretching, meditation, or deep breathing exercises.

Stress management is also an important part of sleep quality. Even when the body feels tired, a busy or overstimulated nervous system can make it difficult to fall asleep or stay asleep. Practices that help shift the body into a more relaxed state may improve both sleep quality and next-day mental clarity.
