Thomas Pest Services Donates $3,000 to Cerebral Palsy Organization

ALBANY, N.Y. –  In honor of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month this past March,
Thomas Pest Services launched a community fundraising campaign benefiting Jake’sHelp From Heaven, a local non-profit organization that supports individuals with complex
medical needs.

The company announced that — thanks to the generosity of its
customers, colleagues, partners, and employees — $1,500 was raised and matched
dollar-for-dollar by Thomas Pest Services, resulting in a total donation of $3,000.

Earlier this month, the Thomas Pest Services team presented a check to Heather Straughter, founder of Jake’s Help From Heaven, and a member of the organization’s Board of Directors.

“This is what community looks like,” said Sarah Thomas-Clark, vice president and co-founder of
Thomas Pest Services. “When we kicked off this campaign, our goal was to raise awareness
and create real change. Thanks to the support of our extended TPS family, we’re able to do both
and support a local organization that means the world to us.”

The campaign was inspired by the Clarks’ daughter, Riley, who lives with cerebral palsy. In
March, Thomas Pest Services shared her story and pledged to match donations made to Jake’s
Help From Heaven throughout the month. The result was a moving display of solidarity from
across the Capital Region.

Jake’s Help From Heaven provides grants, medical equipment, transportation support, and
other life-enhancing resources to families navigating life with complex medical conditions. Their
mission aligns with TPS’s belief that “little things become big things,” both in pest prevention and
in the small acts of care that make a big impact in the lives of others.
