Black Mirage – LP1

Lost in a sonic world of traditional and smoothly modern, this debut titled LP1 plays like a melodic relic unearthed by harmonic tractor beams. The starting point is the mountain dulcimer, an instrument with a history described by speculative connective origins. The exquisite finishing on LP1 are the cosmic particles stretched in linear ribbons of sublime synthesizer. Together, both dulcimer and synthesizer exist in a vibrant groove of musical entrancement. A sparkling new sector of aural contentment where the syncopation holds a surreal worldly treasured vibe. LP1 is a beautiful composition and trying to put a finger on specific genre is refreshingly difficult. With sonic elements in fluidly balanced cadence, the dulcimer is equally as modern as the synthesizer is folk. The artist, Black Mirage creates a soundscape for memories and aspirations. Melodies to warm the heart and gently push the conscious from mortal constraints. Many repeat listens for LP1, such a wonderful debut! 

Released on double 3in CDr’s in a crazy small limited edition of forty two. LP1 is a newer release in the mind blowing catalog of Inner Demon Records. There is over two hundred releases on the label, all with a cohesive look and feel. Will need much time to explore their catalog.
