TAAG Angola welcomes first 787-9 complete with unusual logo

TAAG Angola Airlines is celebrating the arrival of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner, complete with a special new livery and an unusual logo.

The Boeing widebody is the first of four Dreamliners that are due to arrive, with an additional 787-9 and two larger 787-10s set to join the TAAG Angola fleet in the near future.

According to the airline, the Boeing B787-9 features a rebranded livery which “embodies Angola’s heritage, with the visibility of the Palanca displayed on the aircraft’s tail and engine fuselage”.
