Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has suggested that Apple could launch a new iCloud service as soon as next week, aimed at helping users organize meetings and in-person events
Codenamed “Confetti,” the service is expected to integrate with iCloud and feature a web version available on iCloud.com.
As reported by 9to5Mac, who first discovered the existence of code belonging to the new service, “the app will show you a list of the people invited to [an] event and who has already confirmed their attendance. It’s unclear whether Invites will actually be a stand-alone app or whether Apple has plans to integrate it with other parts of the system (such as a mini iMessage app).”
The insight claims that the new app integrates with GroupKit, new with iOS 18, which manages database models for groups of people.
