Outside Lands 2026 Set Times And Essential Info

Outside Lands is nearly here, and now it’s time to prepare for set-time clashes and learn what is permitted to ensure a smooth experience.

San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park is turning into a massive festival ground from August 7–9 for the return of Outside Lands. Spewing from the brains of Another Planet Entertainment and Superfly, this experience offers eight stages, local drink and food vendors, the opportunity to tie the knot with a loved one at City Hall, and night shows across the city to keep the energy going.

Over the span of one weekend, festival-goers are treated to an array of music options to dance to, discover, or simply get frustrated over when their favorite artists overlap (hello, The Strokes, The XX, and PinkPantheress). From the sought-after sounds of Charli XCX, Haute & Freddy, GloRilla, and Empire of The Sun to the electronic waves of Disco Lines, Carlita, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Lane 8, there’s something for every kind of listener.

As attendees prepare for a three-day weekend filled with music, food, culture, and community, it’s important to know the essentials before arriving: what’s allowed, what’s not, key festival guidelines, and when your favorite artists are taking the stage. Read on for everything you need to know to ensure a smooth arrival and an unforgettable Outside Lands experience.

Reminder To Mind Your Belongings:

Unfortunately, during this festival season, many have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses, and other valuables. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, some opportunistic people come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting partygoers, and it’s essential to be mindful of your valuables while at Outside Lands.
