Horror fans are in for a treat as Charlie Kraslavsky from the original Resident Evil will be at California Extreme 2026.
Charlie Kraslavsky is an actor best known for his role as Chris Redfield in the live-action cutscenes from the original Resident Evil for the PlayStation and PC. His other notable roles include Michael in Joshû shokeinin Maria 2 and a H.A.D.E.S. soldier in Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle.
Fans could meet him on Saturday during the panel Resident Evil: 30 Years Of Survival Horror – Q & A Session with original “Chris Redfield”, Live-Action Actor, Charlie Kraslavsky.
Planning for California Extreme 2026
California Extreme has unveiled its schedule along with its list of arcade and pinball machines for the 2026 event. This includes guest panels, game tournaments, a musical lineup, and Rock Band karaoke. Organizers estimate more than 500 arcade games and pinball machines will be present, with the final count expected to shift on the day of the event.
There will be no events at Levi’s Stadium that weekend, so driving should not be an issue. However, there is an SJ Made event happening at the Santa Clara Convention Center at the same time. Guests are advised to plan accordingly. Parking at the convention center is free, with additional street parking available on Bunker Hill Lane and Old Ironsides Drive.

California Extreme is one of the largest showcases of classic arcade and pinball games in North America, having first launched in 1997. The event brings together gamers, industry pioneers, retro collectors, and video game historians for one weekend.

The original Resident Evil launched on the PlayStation in 1996 and helped define the survival horror genre. It would later be remade for the GameCube in 2002, that was remastered for modern consoles and the PC in 2015.
