Kehlani Launches World Tour With Explosive Minneapolis Show

Kehlani has officially launched The Kehlani World Tour, kicking off her highly anticipated run of shows with an energetic performance in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The 2x GRAMMY® Award-winning R&B powerhouse took over The Armory on Thursday night, delivering a set filled with fan favorites, new material, and some of the biggest records from throughout her career. The opening night marked the beginning of an extensive global tour that will take Kehlani across North America, South America, Europe, and South Africa.

Before Kehlani took the stage, fans were treated to performances from WASEEL, TheARTI$t, DIXSON, and Durand Bernarr. The artists helped build anticipation throughout the evening before Kehlani eventually appeared and launched into an explosive performance of “Another Lova.”

From the opening moments, Kehlani had the Minneapolis crowd engaged. She continued with performances of popular songs including “Back and Forth,” “Toxic,” “After Hours,” and “Folded.”

The opening-night set gave fans a mixture of music from different points in Kehlani’s career while placing her latest album at the center of the experience.

The Tour Supports Kehlani’s Latest Album

The Kehlani World Tour arrives following the release of her self-titled album, Kehlani. The project was one of the most anticipated R&B releases of the year and has given the singer another major chapter in her career.

The album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 69,000 equivalent album units earned. That performance made Kehlani the biggest debut for an R&B album by a woman this year.

The strong debut also reflects the continued popularity of Kehlani’s music after years of building a dedicated fan base.

Her latest era has been led in large part by “Folded,” which became a major success and helped generate anticipation for the full album.

The song also became an important part of Kehlani’s awards history.

“Folded” Earns Two GRAMMY® Awards

“Folded” earned Kehlani two GRAMMY® Awards this year, taking home Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.

The victories represent another major accomplishment for the Oakland-born singer, who has consistently established herself as one of contemporary R&B’s defining voices.

The success of “Folded” also helped create momentum for the release of Kehlani. Now, fans have the opportunity to experience the record as part of a full-scale concert production.

The song is one of several tracks from the current era that can help shape the identity of the tour. At the same time, Kehlani’s extensive catalog gives her plenty of material to keep longtime supporters engaged.

Records such as “Toxic,” “After Hours,” and “Back and Forth” remain important parts of her connection with fans.

A Tour Filled With Fan Favorites

One of the biggest strengths of The Kehlani World Tour is the opportunity to bring together multiple eras of her music.

Kehlani has released several projects throughout her career, giving her a deep catalog to pull from when creating a live set.

The Minneapolis performance demonstrated that the tour will not simply focus on her newest album. Instead, fans can expect a combination of newer songs and records that have become staples throughout her career.

That balance is especially important for an artist with a fan base that has followed her through multiple musical eras.

The performance of “Another Lova” provided an explosive introduction to the show, while songs such as “Toxic” and “After Hours” allowed fans to reconnect with familiar favorites.

Meanwhile, “Folded” represents the current moment in Kehlani’s career and the success surrounding her latest project.

Kehlani Heads to South America

The tour will continue internationally following the North American run.

One currently announced South American date is scheduled for November 8 in Salvador, Brazil, where Kehlani will perform at AFROPUNK Bahia 2026.

The festival appearance will allow her to bring her current era to an international audience following the extensive North American tour.

The South American date also serves as a bridge between the North American and European portions of the global schedule.

European Tour Dates Begin in November

Kehlani will then travel to Europe for a series of major arena performances.

The European run begins November 29 in Berlin at Velodrom. She will then perform in Brussels at Forest National on December 1.

Paris is next on December 3, with Kehlani scheduled to perform at Adidas Arena.

The tour continues to Düsseldorf on December 5 and Amsterdam on December 6 before heading to London on December 8 for a performance at The O2.

She is scheduled to perform in Pretoria at Sunbet Arena on December 15.

The tour will officially conclude two days later in Cape Town at Grandwest Grand Arena on December 17.

Ending the run in South Africa caps off an extensive global journey that began in Minneapolis and will span several continents.

A New Era for One of R&B’s Biggest Stars

The launch of The Kehlani World Tour comes at a particularly important time for the singer.

With Kehlani earning a No. 4 Billboard 200 debut, “Folded” securing two GRAMMY® Awards, and the album becoming the biggest debut for an R&B album by a woman this year, Kehlani has plenty of momentum behind her.

The Minneapolis opening night showed how that momentum can translate into a live setting.

From “Another Lova” to “Toxic,” “After Hours,” “Back and Forth,” and “Folded,” Kehlani is bringing both her latest material and longtime fan favorites to stages around the world.

With dozens of performances still ahead, The Kehlani World Tour is positioned to become one of the biggest live chapters of her career.

For fans, the tour represents more than a celebration of a new album. It is a showcase of Kehlani’s evolution as an artist and the lasting connection she has built with R&B audiences worldwide.
