Listen to the Shamanic Journey here

The purpose of this Shamanic Journey is to travel to the Upper World and ask the beloved compassionate Spirits to take me to a galaxy far, far, far away, and let me see a life form that would be of interest to the listeners

I’m standing on my mountain ledge from which I usually go up.

And the animated totem-like pole has appeared and it’s full of energy and vitality as if it knows that there’s a long long long way that I need to travel for my request of visiting a galaxy very far away and encountering a life form that would be of interest and importance to the listeners of the Schapera show and myself.

And I’m climbing.

As I climb I understand that it’s good for me to put in that effort of climbing.

That’s my role in the shamanic journey to show that I want to go up.

But that the significant journey is not going to be me climbing, but this animated pole, itself going up, and taking me up.

And as I’m climbing I’m hearing various sounds, not the voices that I’ve or animal sounds that I’ve heard before on this animated energy pole that has taken me up, but almost like wind noises.

It’s as if I’m being introduced to the sounds of the galaxy.

And I’m getting a message that has become very important to me recently of don’t rush.

Don’t rush yourself.

Don’t push yourself.

It’s about presence and being in the moment and not an anxious rush towards the next thing.

And there’s a message of lay back, or sit back and enjoy.

Which I hadn’t thought about because I was climbing, but I understand that I don’t even need to climb.

I can find a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the ride of being taken up.

It’s very dark outside.

It certainly seems like the darkness of space, and I see a vague cloudy lit up shape below me, and I’m understanding that that’s the galaxy that I’ve come from, the galaxy in which my planet Earth from which I’ve come, was in.

So I’m already very, very, very far away where an actual galaxy just seems like a soft fuzzy light far away below me.

And I’m looking out, and there are occasional bursts of light, almost like fireworks and there are sounds almost like thunder.

It’s a variety of sounds.

I hear what I could describe as thunder.

I hear what sounds like rain.

And I find myself somewhere, I’m assuming it’s a planet of some kind, on some galaxy far, far away as I have requested, and I’m actually on a wooden boardwalk I’m. not sure if it really is made of wood.

But that’s what it’s most similar to.

And on either side is relatively tropical very very green growth.

And I’m just strolling along, I’m feeling that this is perfectly safe.

And I come to a place, it’s almost like a little grotto, and there is a bench on the left that I can sit on.

And I get told that what I really need, what would really be beneficial, is to be in a place of wisdom.

And I say that’s wonderful.

And they say that I’m not necessarily going to hear anything profound, because I’ve already encountered profound teachings.

And that in in current 2026 life there is a pop psychology saying often trotted off, tritely, of “be present”.

And the spirits say don’t let the commonality with which the phrase “be present” is put in the media, don’t let that fool you as to the profundity of being present.

And that part of what is necessary to be present is very simple, it’s to not rush.

Very pertinent relevant information for me, but probably for most people.

And to not rush one’s basic functions like breathing.

And it’s it’s no small thing that breath has been emphasized so much in earthly spiritual traditions, the importance of breath.

And it’s the benefit of breath being calm and breath not being rushed.

And the relaxation that’s needed in order to breathe in a calm, non-rushed manner.

And all along as I’ve been talking, a butterfly-like life form has been flitting around.

The colors that I’m seeing are blue, white and black on the wings.

And it’s making a little joke which I think comes out of maybe a saying in Judaism.

I’ll have to look it up.

It’s something like from God’s mouth to your ear. I looked this up and its “From your lips to God’s ears” (or vice versa)

I’m not exactly sure what this means for me, but it seems special “from God’s mouth to your ear”.

And it’s saying I have to just call it it for the moment that it’s taking a physical form, because that’s helpful for me to relate to -That it’s God’s messenger.

And I know that it’s using the word God again as a phrase of simplicity.

And I have to be available to hear God’s whisper, to hear the message from God.

And immediately as I’m speaking, Im reminded of a phrase that might be in the Bible again, I will need to look it up. Yes, its from Psalm 46.1.

Of “Be Still and Know that I am God”.

And that stillness is a fundamental quality of being, that is being very much threatened by our way of life.

That there’s so many aspects of 2026 modern, especially western, materialistic, acquisitive, consumerism culture, that are dangerous and one that we don’t , and should pay more attention to, is how it makes it so difficult to be still.

And this butterfly form of life is saying that the relevance of me having traveled to a galaxy far, far away and getting this message from a butterfly is to emphasize how important and fundamental this is, that one can go to another galaxy and yet this, what one might erroneously call in a dismissive way a basic message, is absolutely a profound message – to be still.

And in a culture of acquisitiveness and competitiveness, where competition for limited resources and security is so strong and growing stronger, it’s very hard to be still because we’re driven by acquiring and securing our security.

And this being, I’ll call this life-form a being, this messenger from God, says that that’s really the territory of incarnation.

Having to take care of physical security.

And yet we know that ultimately as incarnated beings our physicalness ends.

Our awareness doesn’t end.

And the message here is is also of priorities.

We have a priority of our physical being and we have a priority of our spiritual, for want of a better word, being.

And as I say that the being gives another message of saying “don’t worry it’s, all taken care of” and what’s taken care of again put very simplistically, but it’s a way that we can put into words and understand, is the eternal soul.

The eternal soul absolutely is taken care of.

We certainly don’t really understand that.

But it is emphasized in a lot of religion.

And they say that the point about faith is not blind belief.

The the word faith has got the meaning also of You Can Trust.

When one says one has faith in the eternal well-being of the soul, that’s not saying blind belief in it, that’s saying trust.

And this being is saying that is so important and generally lacking in the 2026 Western culture of trusting.

Trust.

Trust despite not fully or hardly understanding anything.

And they say trust begins with trusting this moment, this second.

And that’s where being still and being present and not rushing into the coming moment but being in this moment is so important, because what accompanies being present is trust versus fear.

And we are all very, very anxious.

And now the butterfly being is flapping its wings and going further along this broad walk.

And Im being shown in image, it’s not really an actual creature in front of me its more a projected image of a mammoth-like elephant from millions of years ago.

Maybe that has lived on this actual planet, and the message here is that civilizations come and go.

But the soul is forever.

Good.

There’s a statement about impermanence, which I know is a very important concept in Buddhism.

And the message that’s coming through to me is don’t be scared of impermanence because isness is permanent.

Isness is.

And they’re saying that, you know, that’s a good little phrase.

Just two words.

Isness is.

That is very pertinent.

And there’s a message that Shamanic Journeys should not be and there’s no need for them, to be grasping for as much information as possible, as if one’s going into a supermarket and loading up one’s shopping cart with as much as possible or walking to a berry bush and loading up one’s baskets with as many berries as possible.

I’m wondering if I could go back now, leave this place.

And this is all coming from this butterfly butterfly-like being, saying on a very practical everyday level to manage one’s anxiety.

And a crucial part of that is to be aware of one’s anxiety in the first place.

And again that statement, “be still and know that I am God”.

And with that the drums seem to be changing or disrupting, and I’m going to thank the Spirits, and they say that I can add to this journey information afterwards.

There’s what I’m experiencing directly in this journey and then afterwards it’s perfectly fine and desirable to think about it and if needs be, if I want to, to supplement this with my additional thoughts and observations, but certainly not deviate from the core messages.

And now, with that the drums have specifically changed and I wave goodbye.

I’m already in the air floating away from the butterfly being, going to the pole, the animated totem-like pole getting comfortable not rushing although the drums are going at such a rate that it tends to make one rush.

But just trusting.

Trusting you will arrive.

And I’m back on that mountain platform.

And I know where I am in the room and that I’ve been doing this journey, and the journey is over, and I thank the Spirits.

Thank you.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
