The 12th annual High Gravity Brewfest is returning for another year of big beers, taking place at the McMenamins Old St. Francis School in Bend on Saturday, February 8. This fest features a variety of strong beers and ciders, perfectly suited for the winter months, from a number of McMenamins breweries (including several collaborations from OSF and Bend-area breweries) and others.

Gather around our blazing firepits or step inside the Theater to taste all the big, bold ales at our 12th annual fest! Enjoy 24 unique ales (plus a couple tasty ciders) from McMenamins and local guest breweries from the Bend area, including a few collaboration beers.
The fest runs from 1 to 8pm and all ages are welcome, though obviously only those 21 years of age and older can sample the various beverages that will be pouring.
The High Gravity Brewfest is, in my opinion, an excellent if underrated event with a terrific selection of brews to sample, all generally at least 7% ABV or higher. The styles run the gamut of big, boozy, dark beers (what you’d expect for winter), to double and triple IPAs, to strong Belgian styles and more. It’s definitely a great brewfest to attend if you get the chance.
The cost is $28 in advance, which you can purchase here, or $30 at the door; this gets you the festival glass and 10 tasting tokens, with the option to purchase more.
