**Bookshine Summer Hiatus – the No-Update Update** – Bookshine And Readbows

Dear book-loving blog readers

I have been delaying this post in the hopes of giving you an update with some actual news, but sadly that is not to be (for now, anyway!).

The planned operation was unavoidably postponed at the last minute but I remain ‘top of the waiting list’ and am just waiting for the call with my new date, which will hopefully be before the end of this month.

As my children are on school summer holidays and I am stuck in a medical waiting pattern, it seemed pointless to reopen the blog only to have to shut it again at any moment, so I am continuing with my planned hiatus for now and taking the opportunity to keep working through my mountainous TBR pile and get in a bit of unexpected family time.

I will update you all when there is actually something TO update, of course, and am looking forward to being on the other side and getting back to sharing some regular reviews with you – I’ve read some cracking books that I can’t wait to shout about!
